Galvanized Steel features excellent forming properties, paintability, weldability, and is suitable for fabrication by forming, pressing and bending.

Zinc coating is one amongst the foremost effective and do economical methods of protecting bare steel from  a corroding environment.


Galvanized Coil is produced from cold rolled ( hot rolled pickled and oiled) coil that has been passed continuously though a pot of molten zinc. The quality of coating applied to surface is controlled by wiping, rollers and/or air jets. The coated product is then cooled and passes through levelling equipment. The zinc coating protects the steel substrate in two ways;

1, it creates a barrier that retards the formation of rust.

2, zinc includes a self-sacrificing character and can extend itself to hide nearby small uncoated areas.


Typical application for galvanized coil and sheet products include exterior building products, flashing, electrical products, roofing, doors, residential steel framing, truss plates, metal building purl insurance and other products requiring a corrosion resistant materials.

The Complete Process of Roofing Sheet Manufacturing

Below is the standard process of the roofing sheet manufacturing

  1. Manufacturing metal coil: One of the most important stages of the manufacturing roofing sheet is converting raw materials into metal coil. The metals ate purified and converted into metal coils to initiate the material manufacturing process. The metal coils are run through a rolling machine to reduce its thickness and achieve the desired grade. The grades for the rolling sheet vary depending upon its raw material.
  2. Roller former: The roller forming seam metal coil goes through a roll former system. A roller former is a machine that turns a metal coil into metal roofing sheets and panels. The machine plays an important role in forming metal roof sheet designs. It can be adjusted to achieve the desired panel design. The seam panel is made produced you feeding the metal cooler into a roll former to achieve the desired curves and profiles. The successive roll makes the bend into the metal and shapes effectively. The panel width is manually set in the forming machine as per the design of the roof seam.
  3. Computer control unit: the majority of the metal roofing sheet manufacturers use a computer control unit to make the changes in the speed, control, operation, panel length and much more.

4. Sheet Metal: The sheet metal is used to produce gable trim, hip/ridge cap, sidetrim, walls heat. All these elements are produced by a detailed process to ensure the efficacy of the panel is met optimally
